Academic tutoring in a music studio?  Well, yes actually.

Sean Gaiser, GIGS founder, was once a high school teacher who spent his weekday afternoons and evenings tutoring over 20 students in various subjects.  Since fully committing to music instruction, Sean has passed the torch to Mater Dei teacher Jimmy Keegan.

Mr. Keegan can help your child reach his or her academic goals by working with you to craft an academic program to suit your child's needs.  He has been tutoring for over 6 years. In addition, Mr. Keegan has coached lacrosse at Georgetown Prep for 6 years.

Tutoring sessions are booked just like music lessons, in 30 minute and 60 minutes time slots.  Rates are $30 per thirty minute session and $60 per sixty minute session.  GIGS offers tutoring in all grade school subjects including math, science, and history.  In addition, we can help you prepare for entrance exams such as the SSAT, the HSPT, and even the SAT.

This is a perfect opportunity for students to maintain a weekly academic tune-up schedule to make sure that they are caught up with their school work for the week.  Although the tutoring takes place at GIGS, tutoring sessions take place in a private, quiet study office separated from the music program.

Contact Sean to discuss in detail how GIGS can help your child stay on top of his/her schoolwork throughout the year.
