GIGS Rock Camp offers 5 jam packed days of fun each session.

The week culminates with a CD release concert held at a real music venue which parents and friends are welcome to join (friday afternoon). Show everyone you have what it takes to make it big!

Monday - Getting started.
The morning session consists of individual musical assessment and creation of the week's 4-5 bands. Bands will meet with their image consultant to lay the framework for band style and genre.
The afternoon kicks off the real fun. Initial band sessions, instrument selection and brainstorming on the name of the band will leave the students buzzing for what's in store the rest of the week.

Tuesday - The morning begins with a meeting with the music director to brainstorm songs. The band also meets with their band manager to discuss the plan for spending the band's "GIGS Cash."
Maybe you will need to rent an effects pedal or want to do more songs in the studio. Your band manager will help your band do everything it takes to make a great CD, design your first band flyer, promote your first show,and create-a-one-of-a-kind band. In the afternoon, the bands start to work up the songs they want to record and perform.

Wednesday - Putting it all together.
Get those songs sounding just like you want them in a day full of playing. Work out the arrangement for the CD and get it sounding nice, because tomorrow you are headed into the studio to lay it down. Rehearse, play music trivia for prizes, meet with your image consultant and get your first look at a working studio. Sounds like a busy day!

Thursday - Into the studio.
Today is the big day. Spend your time working on cover art for your CD and recording, editing, mixing and mastering your first hits! Add effects, hire studio artists to add some flavor, and pat yourself on the back.... YOU JUST MADE YOUR FIRST RECORD!!

Friday - The Big Show.
This morning will be intense. One last run through of your live performance on the big stage. Sound check will start at 10:30AM, so be ready to rock for the big show in the afternoon.
Its friday, 2:00PM and the lights go down at your big show. Play your heart out for your family, friends and your GIGS instructors at your CD release party. Are you ready to go PLATNIUM?
